What a wonderful weekend.....it was so great to relax and be with friends, and get in some exercise.

This is Mary and Jan....our instructors for the weekend!

Michele is in the red and Melissa is on the bottom "down dog" and Mary is spotting.

This is Scottie in the pink and HOLY COW, what she is doing looks soooo easy, but man that is sooo hard. I need to build my upper body before I try that again. It's another way of doing a handstand. WOW!
I will post more later, I am running out the door.....

Alaska State Fair

What would the summer be without going to the State Fair? The girls and I go every year at least twice. My highlight of every trip is to EAT....should you be surprised? I think my favorite thing this year was the cinnamon sugar pretzel at my favorite pretzel place on the purple trail. This year we got to see baby chicks..... they were so little!
This sand sculpture was AMAZING.....these pictures were taken Sept 29th! And we went again with Bill on the 31st. We were very lucky and had good weather both days. The kids as always had a great time, but this was the first year the kids rode some different rides. Hailey did the dragon that goes back and forth, and both kids and myself rode the oriental dragon roller coaster. Holy Cow, that thing went fast, I was ready to get off when it was done. BUT, Hailey rode it again, by herself. I was surprised.

1st day of school

Aug 22nd was Hailey's first day of 1st grade. Here are a few pictures to share of her exciting day! Here is Hailey's cubby's as soon as you walk in the door.......LOVE the organization of this teacher.

I thought I knew how to post picture but for some reason I am having trouble.
So, this post I will test it out.
Here is a cute picture next door to our house where we taught Sydney to ride her bike on 2 wheels.

UGH....it defaulted to the TOP of the Blog....Michele or Karen do you know how to fix this?
